Thank you for your interest in Water Baptism here at Christian Life Centre! When someone takes the bold step to be baptized, heaven rejoices and so do we here at CLC!
Water Baptism is an outward expression and public declaration of your inward decision to follow Jesus and go deeper in your personal relationship with Him. It symbolizes our union with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection and signifies the believer’s death to their old life and resurrection as a new creation in Christ.
Beyond simply following Jesus’ example and practising as the early church did, water baptism is an act of obedience as Jesus clearly calls his followers to continue to spread the story of God’s love, to help others to become disciples and, as we do, we are to baptize them.
